First time wd help

Hey guys first off I've been taking norco 7.5 and 10mg a year of 4 to 5 a day and the past 9 months 7 to 10 a day I've started to go down as of today with a friend of mines help every 3 days I'm dropping a pill until my stash is out which should last me through the process but I' went with out for 3 days and that 3rd day my skin was crawling and I got really depressed with anxiety so I'm really nervous about this I'm hoping that easing off of them will make the wd very easy ! I have some Valium for those ruff days but I guess I'm wondering if my sit is considered small and should be easy to get off without  rehab ? I have cut off my supply and have help with the dose and have the conviction of Jesus in me about quitting and I am ready to quit for sure ! Especially when 3 people I know in the last 3 years have died on it ! But thanks for any response I've been reading this for a while and have really got most ideas from y'all !!!

Hello and Welcome :) First off good job on cutting your sources. The good thing for you is that it doesn't sound like you have been taking them for too terribly long and your dose wasn't awfully high. Quitting is definitely doable if you want it bad enough. The Thomas Recipe is at the bottom of the page that has good information on vitamins and such to help ease your withdrawal symptoms. I was taking a considerable amount more and with lots of vitamins, staying hydrated, and staying active I came out on the other side just fine and it was tolerable. Just make sure that you have some sort of aftercare in mind because the physical part is easy compared to the mental battle that comes after.  Good luck to you!! :))

Thomas recipe is good. Locate a local NA community in your area they have valuable information and support. It will take a bit to get adjusted but you'll feel pretty good in short order. Be patient and stay strong
