listen they are 100 percent right dont go use it really wouldnt help the situation it would only make it worse just go and do sumthing to distract yrself or go to a local na meeting in yr area that works for me you can make it thru this just ride it out and have some faith in yourself
Are the relapses due to a running script ?
If you take any pills it will just prolong your withdrawls. Unfortunately there is no magic cure for withdrawls, you just have to go through them. Please don't take the pills. Go for a walk, listen to some music, keep posting on here. Do anything and everything to distract yourself. Get rid of the pills and your sources for the pills! It is huge if you want to succeed. We are here for you!
WORSE. You've already gone over a day without anything, so there's really no point in starting a taper now. I won't lie to you, the next few days are going to be rough. But it IS possible to get through them, it really is.
You won't be smiling during this time, I know, believe me, I remember, but you can do it. You'll only "reactivate" that trigger in your brain right now that will cause you to want to keep taking them, and stop you from quitting for good. NOW is the time to push forward. Please don't turn back now.
Wouldn't I be better doing like 30 mg a day every other day for a few day? Staying I stuck to that would that make things better or worse
I was using oxy. About 60-100 mg a day
You've been a member here for a while, so I won't bore you with "the drill" - so you know, taking anything right now will only set you back. It's only a few more days of the physical stuff, so please try to hang in there. Course, your post didn't indicate what kind of pills you had in your possession (?) - and you also know, it's near impossible to do this early on if you have access to your DOC (or any drug for that matter). You have to remove those sources. :)
Showers were a huge help for me in the anxiety dept., and so was getting outside, fresh air, sunshine, any distraction actually will help. Have you decided yet what kind of aftercare you think would be right for you? A meeting, or a visit with a counselor/therapist, would also help a lot right now.
Just whatever you do, DON'T USE!! It's a mistake. (and I'm SO glad you decided to post instead - well done!!)
