who needs two full time jobs?

I got to tell you there are some very wise people on this sight,I forget who said it maybe a few of you but it is the truth that being an addict is a full time job it never ends, counting pills worrying about running out, getting more money for a new supply, and what do we get paid for this? A life of torture,I can see people that are in serious pain taking them for broken bones or surgeries but I took them for one reason only,to get high, after 6 days I just realized that I just hung out with a couple of non druggie buddies and talked to them for an hour an a half about nothing really,I haven't done that in a long time so I do see myself snapping out of this high 24/7 life I have been living.

It's a nice feeling when we start to get our old selves back, isn't it?  Many of us start off for legit pain and then end up chasing that high.  When life becomes our high again, there isn't much better.:))
Keep moving forward!
