Has anyone heard of immodium helping WD symptoms besides diarrhea?

I have already posted once about something else. I have restless arms...or whole body, but the arms get me the worst.  I read somewhere that immodium helps a host of symptoms, including restless legs and arms.  Does anyone know about this?

Thanks for the post!  That is a question that I am not sure how to answer and would love your feedback.  I took my last regular dose at 130 pm on Friday.  I usually take around 15 a day.  I did take 2 on Saturday in an effort to ward off the RLS that comes on the first FULL 24 hours after my last dose.  I have restless arms instead of legs and it drives me crazy!  Other symptoms are being handled by imodium and clonidine.  I have had no pills since the 2 I took at about 3 pm on Saturday, so what day is this???

I've never heard about Immodium helping with the muscle aches and discomfort, but if you find that it has, that's just a bit of good news for you. But don't take more than prescribed. As worried878 said, that could cause a whole new set of problems. Sedation is also one of the common side effects.

What day are you on?

Thanks!  i will try to find some.  I didn't know, since it says "legs", if it would help my arms.  I am taking clonidine, so the other symptoms are tolerable, but this arm thing is crazy!  I guess it's pretty much the same symptom as restless legs...it is just in my arms???

Try Hylands "Restful Legs".  It is natural and you can get it at most drug stores.  This helped me a ton.  Hot baths, excercise, Chamomile Tea are other good things to do.  For me, this was the first symptom to show up...but also the first to subside....and by far the worst.

a lil bitta help..imodium affects the same receptor sites/was originally formulated as   a narcotic but was a bomb,,,but causes constipation like narcs do///1 or 2 stops the runds all day for many...if u took enuf to feel relief from wd ur bowels would be concrete!
