I just noticed you did start your own thread. I haven't heard anything about fluoxetine to help withdraws. I will see what I can find out. Usually there isn't anything that will get you through withdrawals except time. Tramadol must be tapered though as it can cause seizures if you go cold turkey. I know tapering can be hard if you have a addictive personality. Do you have anyone to hold on to your pills and to dole them out? Tapering will also help with the withdrawals. Also check in to the amino acid protocol and or Thomas Recipe in the health pages. This along with exercise will help tremendously!

Im going to get everything for the thomas recipe and I ordered the fluoxetine online, when it comes this week I am going cold turky. I cant taper I am an addict and I keep taking more than Im supposed to I Have Tried But Just Can Not Do It.. UGGH I Wish I Could! I try to just take two and my head tells me three or four wont hurt I did good all day. Or I have a bad day and then take two or three. I pray and plan all day im only going to take two or one and a half. Its frustrating.

I am now down to 2 every six hours (usually) then I think I did good 3 or 4 wont hurt, tapering is not working.

I don't know much about tramadol withdraw but from everything I've read on this site it can be dangerous to go cold turkey. I've taken a bunch of it but had no clue it is addicting until I stumbled onto this site. Is it possible for you to taper? Try to read up on all the tramadol/ultram posts. I am on day 5 of vicodin withdraw and I took 2 advil in the morning and melantonin at night to sleep, other than that I read books, read the posts here (really helped) and watched movies, and actually made it outside for a walk today. Have you stopped taking them?
