so+i+have+found+the+perfect+quote+from+the+good+book+its+self+lord+please+grant+me+the+will+to+change+the+things+i+can+and+the+learn+to+live+with+the+things+i+cant+this+sums+up+a+recovering+addict+perfectly+we+cant+in+back+in+time+and+fix+our+mistakes+but+we+can+work+to+make+sure+the+wont+happen+again+as+time+goes+on+in+the+clean+life+i+believe+we+have+a+chance+to+right+alot+of+the+wrongs+that+we+have+done+in+our+former+lives+we+just+need+the+will+to+do+so+its+amazing+what+can+be+accomplished+with+will+alone+but+all+of+that+means+nothing+if+you+cant+live+with+the+things+in+life+that+may+never+change+just+some+food+for+thought

You're right. I carry the serenity prayer coin in my pocket at all times. I still need to refer to it several times a day. My biggest hangup STILL is not forgiving myself...and I'm trying to fix things that I cannot change. Learning to live with myself is the hardest thing I will ever do. I guess all addicts feel pretty much the same about this. Thank you for the post...
