How I successfully got off of Soma..Thanks to all

I wanted to let everyone know that I am now off of Soma. I had been abusing it for months. I was able to taper down to about 2 pills every 4-5 hours then I just slept off the withdrawl syptoms with the help of some unisom. I also used Klonopin 1 mg 3 x day then .5 3 x day now back to .5 2x day. Feeling much better and cravings are gone for the most part. Thanks for all that helped.

Thanks for the encouragement. It wasn't that bad. I'm not saying that I wouldn't like some right now but forget it! It just screws you up. You guys are great.

That is great...I had never read a post before about soma addiction and I remember you...I am so happy you did it safely...i dont know if CT off of soma is safe

Your exactly right its all in the getrting used to the not taking them,what-ever they may happen to be especially when we are on something way stronger. I know im waiting for a hip-replacement sergury and im on 80mgs of methadone liquid foer pain,and today i get my perks,mostly to make a few bucks,but i stillpopped 30 altogetherjust to get that high.The high that dont exest anymore.I coulld pop the whole bottle over the course of a few days and yes a mild reaction,but f-ALL in the big picture.Nothing worth paying 3 a piece for you know. have a good day

Yeah !!!!   soma is horrible.  see i told you it wouldn't be so bad.  5 days max of just getting used to not taking it.......physical witdrawal wasn't that bad.....was it?  little anxiety?....Good for you, and you don't even know how much better you are going to look and feel in the coming months/years...........Good Job!!!!
