She gave me 10 Xanax and I think I'm done with them.
I think that's wise. You don't want to feel like you "need" them, or it will end up another "crutch", not to mention the actual dependency issue. 7 days is amazing! Truly! Give yourself a pat on the back! You're soon going to be feeling better and better every day!
She gave me 10 Xanax and I think I'm done with them.
The day didn't end so UP - as I hit a wall and had to leave a little early - but I put in my usuall 12 hour day!!
Took my melatonin - and will be going to bed soon!!
Looking forward to day # 7.
Sounds like you are doing really well. I agree about feeling better mentally just knowing that you have the Xanax if you need them. I feel that way about the Clonidine. As soon as I had the bottle in my hand, I felt calmer.
Keep up the good work!
You're doing great!
I would recommend being 100% DONE with the Xanax after this supply. How many did your doc prescribe? You don't want to have to contend with benzo w/ds! Also, the longer you take them, the worse any rebound anxiety you have when you stop taking them will be.
Yoga class sounds like a fantastic idea! Anything you can try to help you cope with the anxiety and tension will help tremendously. It's good that you're getting back into a routine...that helps too!
Awesome! Glad you had a great day! Tomorrow will be even better too! (Hugs)
Congrats! Your doing GREAT! Glad to hear that you got some sleep! Keep on keeping on!
Hi folks - I thought I would sneak in & say I made it to work. Fully clothed - I had the hubby check. lol
I did an agenda in my head as I drove in- things I had to do today - and I have done 3 of the 4. So now I feel like I can breath a little - I find I am holding my breath a lot.
Also - I have started to clench my teeth. I did invisalign a few years back & then got the retainers - which I wear every night. I cracked those months ago & ordered the heavy duty - nuclear ones - really thick - so at least my teeth are protected. But my jaw hurts when I wake up.
Just sharing things as I feel them.
OH - and this is weird - remember I started taking these nasty Norco 2 years ago for my back - well, it isn't hurting me as badly as I thought it would. Just saying . . . .
I think I'll look into a yoga class for the weekend.
Yeah great job on day 6!! You've been such a rock star through the w/ds! Each day will get a little better and remembering to focus on the aftercare and never letting your guard down will really start to become more important as you begin to feel better and more "normal." I'm really enjoying you around here! You're helping so many others already and that's awesome so see:).
