I TOOK ROBAXIN AND NOW MY HEART IS BEATING FAST!!!! ????

I went to the doctor today because I was having sinus problems and I also got my Robaxin raised to max strength 4 per day. I was taking 2. The doctor said only take 4 when the pain is worse on some days.

Well I took 2 pills at 3pm and 2 more at 7-8 because I wanted to go to bed early.

Now my heart is kind of pounding fast...  I have had this before when NOT on Robaxin once or twice, not often.

I keep shaking my leg as I am writing this and my heart seems to be beating fast, so I am not tired... Kind of antsy...

It is not beating too fast, as it has before......... Once or twice it happened real bad... This is moderate....

It feels just like I had several 6-7 cups of coffee....

I am trying to figure what I have done differently and the only thing is taking more muscle relaxer..... I also took my usual Gabapentin and motrin and that's it....

I hope I did not OD and the DR told me the right amt... I don't want to take too much!

It seems like I read 2 daily was normal but he said 4 Robaxin.. I don't have the mg because my mom keeps all the meds in her purse, strange but she does.... She is working, I was nervous so tried to call her but she is too busy...

I found some Corgard in the cabinet, I used to take it for blood pressure and it also reduces heart rate so I took 1. I had not taken it in a few months so glad I found it.... I hope it helps!!!

I did not od ... as long as the doctor did not tell me the right dose...

Today is a new day and I am fine now... Trying to only take the muscle relaxer when I really need too!

no one here is qualified to answer the question as to if youve overdosed.

If you think youve OD'd GO TO THE ER!!!

Can you call your doctor? An unusually fast heart rate is nothing to play around with. Also I wouldn't suggest adding any more meds to the mix.I think your safest bet is to get in touch with your doctor ASAP and if that is not an option a call to the local ER to explain to them what you took and the reaction you are having. Please do that now and keep us posted...Kim
