I need help

I have been using opiate tea one to four times a week for the last 5 months. I have quit to save myself and my relationship. I sobered up off of everything else a year ago. I was a severe alcoholic (2 bottles of wine of almost a 750 of vodka a day) and taking any kind of pill I could get my hands on. I thought I was doing something 'legal' making opiate tea, so it was okay. I now have severe anxiety, night sweats, and diarrhea. Is this normal? I was worried I have freaking lukemia or HIV until my boyfriend suggested that its opiate withdraw, not something that serious. not that drug addiction isnt serious, but you know...

Again I don't know have any personal knowledge about the tea,but from what you say it is and the fact that you have quit ,it sounds like you're boyfriend is right and you are experiencing some w/d.I really don't like to comment on drugs that I don't have personal knowledge of,wouldn't want to mis lead anyone.Hang in there though someone will come along with much more information then me.I can tell you that you have come to a wonderful place for help and answers.Welcome and congratulations on quitting...Peace....Kim

Welcome to the forum! I am honestly not familiar w/what opiate tea is... I mean I guess it's exactly that...but I've never heard of it.

What I can tell you is the symptoms you describe do sound like opiate w/d. This forum is a wonderful place for support and information. If you will look to the right of the screen there are Health Pages .. click on those... definetely read the Thomas Recipe and the Amino Acid Protocol. I am a big advocate of the vitamins & supplements...they help your body to restore what the opiates have robbed your body of!

I am sure someone will come along that may have more knowledge in this area.

Good Luck!
