The depression, anxiety, basically feeling hopeless - that does definitely get better. The first couple of months can be tough because your brain is adjusting to life without narcotics. It takes time for those brain receptors to heal, but as long as you know what's in front of you you'll know how to handle it. Being bored, wondering if you'll be happy, that's normal stuff to feel right now. It does definitely go away tho! Check the health pages, read up on PAWS (post-acute withdrawals symptoms) knowing what you're battling makes a huge difference! Keep posting, we're all here to help!
Hello, Well, since you have been on it for 6 years I hate to be the one to point out that it will most likely get worse. However, it may not. Everyone is different. You have been on it for quite some time. And mixing 3 different narcotics on top of that. 2 of which are VERY strong. So even if it gets tough...you have to get TOUGHER. The depression will pass with time. Look up the thomas reicipe. And the sleep thing is hard I know...It was the last thing to come back for me. The hardest part, (in my opinion) Is when you get down to nothing....but it should olny last about 7 days or so. Keep your head up. WE have ALL been in your shoes.
If you are going to contune to taper down and off yes most likely it will be getting worse . Have you checked out the thomas recpie and the amnio acid protocal the can help with some of the wd ....we are here to support you.
