Is there a quick way to detox from lortab?

I am 23 years old, I was in a head on collision 2 years ago, and after 4 months of suffering of pain and trying natural remedies to make the pain go away, I was referred to a pain management doctor.It took me a year to realize that I have a problem. I have now been on them for 2 1/2 years and I really really really really want to quit!! I have tried several times and I can never get past the 2-3 day then I give in, I researched things I could do to help with the withdrawal... I go to school full time (I cannot miss) and I have 4 children! My life has been soo great except that I realize I have a problem, I really want to quit and NEED HELP, I need to be on this earth for as long as I can for my children. I know I can live with out it, my doctor prescribed me seraquil XR and it has helped me not to think about taking pills, pills, pills and I dont feel so anxious. So my question is HOW do I get past WITHDRAWAL FAST?

I can tell you that I have been doing tabs for 2 years , up to 20 a day!! Im getting off them right now, and we can do it together if you want??? I tapered a little bit the past 4 days and tommorow will be my first day of detox! I can not miss work either. Here is what Im doing... I figure you have to get the toxins out right? I bought an internal detox kit from Cvs, I have and am gonna drink tons of water, take vitamins including b6 b12 and vit c. Im gonna get a deep tissue massage because that releases the toxins from your muscles. Exercise will speed up the process and will release endorphins to make u feel better. Hot baths feel great, hot tub etc.. Let me know if that helps you and we can do this!!!

I mentioned methadone, because a natural herb doctor, said " that I need to start with methadone", but I know a lot of people that are addicted to methadone. I just want it to be over with. I feel dedicated, but scared at the same time. I think I just need major support!!

You can't have a quick fix...you have been on the pills for 2.5 years. It sounds like you have a doctor who has helped some. I'd stick with that and get into NA...find a sponser and hit 90 meetings in 90 days...pretty fast.
