norco wiithdrawl help/support

by cm2121, 24 minutesI have been on norco 10/325 for about a year and a half I suffer from a hip injury and tendonitis in my legs..at first I took them here and there half at a time not exceding 2 a day...then as pain got worse I started taking aubot 3  a day on bad days sometimes four but only the past couple months have I done this and noticed now half a pill only works for pain for about a half hour or so then I feel anxiety and withdrawl like symptoms...I am prescribed 60 a month and the past couple months I run short and have to taper down each time. My refill is friday and I tapered from 3 to 2 to 1 and a half the past week.  The other night I had to take a extra half cause my pain was high so it shorted me today and I took a half a pill at 7:30 am...im feeling rrstless legs mainly and csnt focus...I do get anxiety but I have suffered from that my whole life and can deal...the worst feeling is the upper back anxiety feeling...the weeks I have been tapering I have felt horrible no throwing up or anything  and mild diarrhea.   Since I took a half  so 5mg at 7:30am its been 8 hrs  how long should my withdrawls last...I do take gabapentin for nerve pain and heard it helps so yook one 600mg about a half hour ago....when should I feel the worste?  I dont wanna be on these anymore I dont like pills running my life, I like being in control of that...ehats different is today I am not craving a pill I do have a half left but I dont wanna take it!  Any support or helpful tips would be great.  I rather be in bad pain then worrying about when to take a pill.  Just wanna know if the worste has started or not?   Should I take the other half tomorrow?  Or will it prolong things as I feel like thats what tapering has been doing!   Im sleeping fine and I am hungry... if anyone can have some insight the support eill really help thank you :)

Thank u so much for your support...24 hours norco free just mildly achey and tossed and turned but slept all night for the most part...I really never have trouble sleeping.  U gotta think happy thoughts.   I go to the doc today gonna tell her I dont want pain meds anymore...I dobtake vallium at night and for panoc attacts but as dirrcted only...like I said I really dont like pills and pretty strong willed. The vallium will help the random heart racing. Maybe I caught it at the right time I just noticed this month that I needed more of a pill to function.  I dont like that!  Anything else I should ask my doc about to ease symptoms?  I am goin to tell her my body becane dependant.  Appreciate the support the happy is already comming back :)

Hey ! Hang in there!! You are really doing well!! You can take Imodium for the restroom issues... It helped many of us. It's hard to say if its going to get worse. You may luck out and this is is the worst of it :) Just take each symptom as it comes and keep pushing forward!

First off welcome! congrads on deciding to quit! Best thing you can do for yourself! I went CT 140 days ago off of 120 Norcos and 180 tramadols a month~I followed the Thomas Recipe and it helped. The first 3-5 days will feel like you have the flu! Make sure you get lots of fluids down and eat when you can. Keep yourself busy make yourself get out of bed and take showers or baths. Stay on this site it saved my life! Many Many great people with wonderful advise to get you threw!
You can do this and as time goes by your pain level will decrease!
