Have someone get some 5-htp for you. It's an herb you can get anywhere it's a serotonin precursor. It's used in Europe to treat depression. It can be hard on the stomach. After I took it for a few weeks it made me vomit. So take it with food. Also make sure that you have a mineral complex and amino acid blend. Those are also necessary for neurotransmitter production (happy brain chemicals that we produce).
You are in the right place if you feel alone. There are plenty of people here who have been through this, and believe it or not are up pretty much around the clock ready and willing to listen.
For me, it helped to tell my story in detail. How I started, how I progressed, and what caused me to finally give in and get on here. I'm currently clean, but thats only for today, and thats all I can focus on.
Not much you can really do for depression, but if you look up the Thomas recipe you may find it gives you a little comfort making it more comfortable to do things that can help take your mind off of things. Go for a walk, read a book, or if you are too restless get a book on tape and listen to it while you walk around.

The depression will pass. Find anything you can to distract yourself...music, books, tv, etc. Anything to get out of your head. Make small goals and rewards for yourself. Your husband might want to help. He could surprise you with tiny things. ..a note, card, your favorite candy... to give you something to look forward to each day. I'm going to buy myself something small if I do well with my taper this week. When I get depressed I look at some things online that I might want and day dream a little.

We are here. I haven't read your "story" yet but wanted you to know you weren't alone. The depression part of withdrawal is brutal but remember it's just temporary. It will pass. Hang on tight and have a good cry if you can.
