I use a vegetable capsule of the GABA, I can only tell you what works for me. What helps me a lot is going to NA meetings. Reading recovery material, writing a journal, affirmations and a gratitude list. Talking to people who are in recovery, being outside with nature, praying , working with my sponser. Letting go and letting my higher power guide me. Doing the right thing. Know that in time it will get better. Just hang on no matter what. All the bad stuff gets easier. Trust in the process of healing.
Hi Lilly, Thanks for responding. I have some melatonin, it works great. The 10mg ones made me tired the next day. The 3mg ones I find help some.
We eat pretty good, like a heart healthy diet but I need a CocaCola at all times, gotta be decaf. I know pop is bad but I quit drinking in 98, quit smoking in 99, got off caffeine a few yrs ago, now getting off valium,, I'm not ready to give up my pop. That's enough to give up for now,, or maybe a whole lifetime. You struck a cord with the water, you're 100% correct. I'm gonna drink more water, thanks for reminding me!
Never tried valerian root or GABA. Swanson has GABBA cheap, then thry have slightly more expensive stuff. One is a Gel Cap and the other is a Veg Cap, whatever that means. Do you need the better stuff?
