Is it normal to have a "metal" taste in your mouth when going through fentanyl withdrawals?

Yep the horrible taste and I could smell something horrid too.  My family cooked a frozen pizza and it smelled so bad to me that I will never eat one again!  It all goes away slowly but it does go away.

Hey, I've had the metal taste, but I really remember a weird peanut-butter type taste. I would go outside to smoke, and as I was lighting my cigarette, I always had that weird taste in the back of my throat.

Yes it is normal as a matter of fact I found wd from opiates I constantly had that metally taste and an awful smell in the back of my throat!! It does go away but was the  main reason for me vomiting so much!!! Hang in there..mouthwash???
