Meth addiction.. Help me please!

Im worried about my problem with meth. Ive been using for 2 years now and I never thought it was a problem.but I lost my job last month it feels like all Im doing now is smoking it. Ive even been using needles now. Smoking it was good I felt in control with it. But the needles make me feel like I need it. The rush is so amazing, it makes me want more and I cant stop. The worst part about it is a few times Ive felt like Im overdosing on it. I cant tell if I really am. It feels like an extreme rush that wont stop. Its kind of scary. I tried getting into rehab but they want me to wait 2 months! I cant make two months! I cant even get past two days without it! I went and got some last night and was told our friend had overdosed and died on it. I thought about that on my walk home and thought it could be me. I tried just smoking it, my friend said you cant overdose if you smoke it.but it didnt work and I ended up using the needle again. I dont know what to do anymore I cant find help and the more I try not to think about it the more I do. I tried to spend all my money on stuff I need so i couldnt buy anymore, but I just ended up trading my stuff for meth so that didnt work. Does anyone have any ideas how to stop??? Im desperate!

I've never used the needle, but all my "friends"that have or did are either in prison, dead,or are complete dirtbags. Get help now because as an outsider, everyone seemed to spiral very quickly before there life hit a cement wall. Everything gets really bad,really fast! Think of anyone who loves you and how bad it would hurt them to identify your body or watch you get sentenced to prison. The guilt I have from the pain I caused my mother alone is unbearable. I did 60 days in jail recently, I violated Probation. My life was & still is very blessed. Mom is a nurse and my step-father is a police officer, 3 brothers and 1 sister, two beautiful children and my soon to be husband. Im 27 and i didn't think anyone even noticed I
was gone, but each one of them where deviated. Your life isnt your own ever, realize how much ur mom or anyone loves you before you cause the kind of pain you see in there eyes forever. Good luck

You need to get to an AA/NA meeting ASAP! They are everywhere. They can stear you in the right direction, give you info on rehabs in your area and all of that. They helped me find the right rehab for me. I understand what daisy is saying, a heroin addict I met in rehab explained to me that the proccess of shooting up was almost as addictive as the drugs. You are not alone, we are all addicts and here to listen, and many are in recovery and can give you great advice. Do you have a dr you can see? Where I'm at, there are rehab's with waiting lists, but there are many that can get you in same day. There is even one run by the salvation army that only costs $3 a day (or atleast it did a year and a half ago when I detoxed there). This is so dangerous, I don't want anything to happen to you.

Well I would def recommend rehab..there has to be more than just that 1 around..where are you??? Second you are playing w/ ur life everytime you shoot that needle in your arm which can become an addiction in itself which is why I think you really need some professional help to stop. IK this b/c I am a recovering heroin iv user of 5 years and am now 17mos sober!! I never thought I wld beable to say that , I saw myself dead sadly before recovered. IK how strong addiction is but it is a whole nother game when you start using needles...Get on the phone and make some calls to get your self some help if your really serious about stopping this time and your right your friend very well could be you.. I had an overdose and swore I would never shootup/use again I almost didn't make it and because I wasn't serious and didn't get proper after care I think I lasted 60 days after being DEAD!!!! This is a very serious place your in I wish you the best please get some help,I don't no if this helped you but I saw noone ans. ur post and I didn't want u thinking your alone..daisy
