Methadone? Or not?

To taper off of oxycotin would methadone be a liable way to cut down?

   hey....DON'T GO TO METHADONE!!!!!!!!!....you would be way better off just stopping what your on now!  Methadone is much, much, harder to get off!!!!.....I was taking oxy, hydro, perc, anything I could find...got tired of withdrawals when I didn't have any ...then I was told "take methadone, it's much easier to get off"  RIGHT!!..looking back had I just tapered them I would have been much better off!  I was on methadone for 7+yrs...worse yrs of my life!  Today I'm 8 days off methadone and I already feel sooo much better!  Methadone takes your spirit and soul....makes you have no motivation or ambition...it's EVIL.....(sorry, just how I feel about methadone)

Um ok methadone is not way worse to get off of then oxy the withrawls from oxy is way worse then methadone I have done it a couple of times so good luck with all of that ...

Withdrawals are only temporary. There is no easy way out. If you continue using your tolerance will increase and then your w/d will get worse each tine your quit. So stopping when you are only doing 2 or 3 oxys is best. If you are still doing vics and percs you are stilling using opiates so you shouldn't really have any withdrawal

You will be fine stopping the oxys. You have to decide if you want to stop or not.do you smoke them with other people or by yourself?

Well when i have OC's i smoke them so they last lnger like 2 a day sometimes more. But if i have OP's i just take them usually 3-4 i also take vicoden, and percs.

NO. Methadone is way worse to detox from than oxys. How many oxys are you taking?
