No don't go back up. Just wait a bit longer until you drop the dose again.

Hi my doc. swictch me on my metoprolol to a slow realease one. metoprolol that didnt work. so she put me back on reg. metoprolol. tarate. and im on hydralazine 25mg 3 times a day. i was on hydrochlorthiazide she just took me off of that one.and i take nifediac cc the issues im haveing today is every time i go to the clinic to dose im getting more drousy for some reason. and nausea ,cold you would think comeing dowd from 80mgs to 71mgs you wouldnt be drousy? my blood pressure is not high. actully i think its to low. 117/60 pulse63 my doctor says thats not to low. but i keep checking it. so i dont know if im withdrawling? im at 71mgs right now. i was wondering if i went down 5mgs a week would i withbdrawl? instead of them takeing 2mgs a week? could you get back with me ASAP thank you very much John

hi john, how are you feeling? it is probably more than likely a change in the bp medicene that is causing your symptoms. you shouldnt be feeling withdrawal from the drop in your methadone. have you tried taking the bp meds at a different time than the methadone? why did you stop taking the metoprolol?
how long ago was your bp medicene changed? you might need more than one bp med. my husband takes  metoprolol and hydrochlorothiazide.
how did you feel before when you were taking the metoprolol? did you get dizzy?

Oh, I am having syncope too. A pulse of 128 is ok though! Don't let it scare you! But do what you're doing and keep monitoring.
Go to ER if pulse gets really high or erratic. Same with BP. Really low or high.

Deep breathe. I can't tell if you are saying they just changed your BP meds, but that alone needs monitered if they did.

It took 4 months to get my metoprolol dose correct. But as long as your vitals are ok, deep breathe though it. Go straight to ER if erratic change! Good luck!
