yes day 3,4,5 can be the worst after five things tend to get better at very steady space you are right on course hanfg in there better days are coming very soon.
Are you taking any suppliments?? The Hylands restful Leg suppliment that you can find at wal mart or walgreens is good and helps with the leg issues. I took a cal/magnessium suppliment that I think had alot to do with my wds being as tolorable as they were going to get..I also took a good multivitamim. Look up the Thomas rec. and get the ingred. to that and try to use this as a tool to get through the next week or so. I did not start to feel better until day 7 and then day 10 was also a good turning point for me. It is a tough battle that you will fight for a while but I will tell you that it is VERY worth it. I was taking 10-15 norcos daily for a few years and quit ct. YOu can do it! Remind yourself that it didnt take you overnight to do this to your body so you can not expect it to repair itself overnight eighter, Your body and mind are going to be working on repairing itself so try to feed it well. Get some food in..I am sure you do not feel like eating but eat something especially protien foods. Get a protien shake mix. Drink alot of fluids!! All those trips to the bathroom are depleating your body from the essential fluids you need naturally.,Here is another thing that will seem impossible to do or to even imagine..try to exersize. GO for a walk do something....this will help! Also..this site is a great tool to help with the support you are going to need to get through this. Kris
Hi,
I am sorry that you are having a hard time. Actually, day 3 and day 4 are usually the worst. And, usually, day 5 is when it peaks and you will begin to start to feel better. Remember that everyone is different and there are many factors.
I know it stinks but please hang in there. If you give in now you will eventually have to do this again and believe me, it gets harder every single time.
Please hang in there....
For most days 3-4 are the worse - keep drinking a lot of water, I've heard that if you drink warm water with some lemon in it it helps. When I went through withdrawal I didn't start feeling okay until 5-7 days
What are you WD from? Also, for most people days 3-4 are the worst and day 5 is like a new life. You may feel drastically better physically tomorrow or the day after. For me day 2-3 has always been the worse but I never got on a really high dosage. (40mg of percs a day) Anyways, to give up now would be a travesty because the worst is definitely almost behind you. You cant dwell on it though. I find that I have to convince myself I am better and start moving around. Motion creates emotion....get inspired so listen to music, read a book or watch a movie with inspirtation.
