Need support

Some of you have read my story, was taking percs 10/325 and morphine (avinza) 60 mg. This last script I got of percs I finished in 1 1/2 weeks. I couldn't believe it. I had the morphine to last so I didn't go into w/ds from the percs. Well it has been about three weeks w/ no percs. But on Sat I took my last avinza. I felt okay, sat and sun, but today the wds have kicked in. I am feeling achy, diarehha, anxious and have RLS which just started tonight. Please help me, how long will this last, when will I be able to sleep? Any suggestions on how to deal with the RLS?

Where are you at now?  It should be day 10 or 11? for you now.  How are things?

I have some valerian root, but the smell of it makes me nauseus. Today I am at work and it really *****! I just want to go home and go to bed...I really have not eaten in three days because nothing sounds good. I just want this all to go away. Day four...

Lesa is all correct - my recomendations follow all what you have seen here already - baths, exercise, and eat even though you will not want to.  I have one more recomendation that saved my life (literally).  After 7 days of no sleep I started to lose my mind - I was going to hurt somebody or myself.  My ego was that I was going to do the withdrawal on my own - with no support.  I was terrified and embarassed to go to my family doctor but without sleep I had no choice.  Thank god he was understanding and helpful.  He gave me a non-opiate anxiety med and some sleeping pills.   I got sleep that night.  You might need to go this route.  Be careful about self-medicating which I tried at on the 3rd day in.  I OD'd on Gravol and Acetominiphen because I was just trying to 'knock myself out" - I know from experience and info that this route can be dangerous. - Go see a helpful physician for sleep remedy.

valerian root is a good herb for anxiety during the day..melatonin is best used only for sleep...good luck and hang in there!

rls is .... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr  i ate a lot, lot of bananas + magnesium  and i had a sort of freezing cream instead of the cold bandages ..

I took warm baths and ate bananas.  Some have wrapped their legs with ace bandages also.  This will pass and you will get to the other side.  Stay strong       sara

we're here for support! I hope you feel better soon, I agree with Lesa on everything to try and help you get through this :) The melatonin really helped me a LOT at night the first few weeks. stay strong, you'll get through it!

Hi Blue.. You have the Motrin right.... I used this, it helped me a lot.. Valerian Root Morning night to help relax. Melatonin 5mg. at night. They have a product Highland Restless Legs.. I bought a knock off I was surprised at how well it worked.. Not miracles but it helped.Back to Walmart... Hot Baths, showers often it seems that is the only time you feel normal.. Heating pad.. and time... Try to stay hydrated you may need some Immodium.. Eat.. and most of all even though you feel like cr@p walk... It really does help with depression and RLS...  Sleep...  I slept about a hour a night may-be.. 8th night I passed out.. Sleep is the longest to come back..  Day 3 and 4 are the worse... Then it is down Hill.. I wish you well on your journey.. Those few Day's of suffering are so worth the Freedom... lesa
