Nerve Block

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!1 Wanted to check in and let ya'll know what's going on. My back and legs started hurting again and PM Dr. tested me for a nerve block. It worked on me so he will do it the 8th of Dec. I had 4 days of NO PAIN. It should last 18 months , then they can do it again! Maybe it could help a lot of other people on here. I was getting scared I was going to have too get back on the pills again, I also got a script for a antidepressant. It's helping too. I'm not bragging just want to pass along the good news and maybe help someone else. The main thing is to not give up. There are answer out there,, just got too find them. God Bless Has anyone else had the nerve blocks?

That is awesome!  I'm so happy that you checked in and that you FINALLY have some pain relief.  I'm hoping for something similar for my mom.  Would you mind PM"ing me the details?

Hi Tooter, so good to hear from you.  That sounds so wonderful! I hope and pray that this will be the solution for your pain.  I did have a nerve block, but I guess it was different than what you are talking about. Mine was when I had surgery for my broken leg. They gave it to me right before surgery, and it lasted for about 2 days, I think.  It was great for me because I had no pain right after surgery, and I was not given any Morphine in the hospital, and I was alert and clear headed when I left. I would Definately do it again if I ever need additional surgery.

Hi tooter!  Hopefully this nerve block works good for you.  I have a friend who has had them and she gets alot of relief.  Hope you had a good Thanksgiving~

Hello and happy thanksgiving!  
Yes i had a nerve block with my shoulder and neck. In my case only worked for hrs and had issues. One i lost most of hearing on that side. But i have heard others great results. So...  keep up the good work!
