Not having bad wd's

Is it possible for me to not have bad wds, when coming off of about 100 mg's of hydros?(for about 7 months of use)
My biggest issue is not being able to sleep well. I just tossed and turned all night, I feel sluggish but not like I'm gonna die or anything that bad.
Prayer is helping too:)

The holistic diet is called the Master Cleanser....it's no holds bar kind of diet, the drink you make with water, lemons, pure organic maple syrup and cheyenne pepper taste gross, but you'll get used to it in a few days (Everything is organic in the recipe)...the first few days are hard and you actually get some body aches, but it's worth it if you can do it.

I'd also try the Sacred Heart Soup diet or the Cabbage soup diet, they are good cleansing/detox diets for short periods of time. I do it at least once a year and I feel so refreshed afterwards.

Good luck and keep me posted!!

Wow, I'll have to try that soon! Doesn't sound that bad.
Sleep is going to be an issue, my doc gave me
clonidine, so I will use it at night to help with the sleep.
I took 2 tabs yesterday, and none so far today.
I will take one before bed though.
I also have xanax so that will help too. I just have to be very careful
with that one too!

I work in a rehab center in a large hospital and w/d vary person to person. I've seen the good, bad, ugly and the devil literally come out of human bodies while detoxing of hydros. It's amazing how alike we are and how dramatically different we are. With my own personal experience, my wds weren't as bad as I thought they would be, I mostly had many many sleepless nights, mild body aches and severe headaches that lasted hours. I am 54 days off of percocet and the best thing that helped me was taking walks, drinking lots of water, eating fruits and veggies; the forst 10 days were the toughest for me, and on the 11th day, I got on a holistic diet (drinking purified water with organic lemon and organic maple syrup for 1 week), to get more of the toxins out and I tell you what, it's the best I've felt in years.

Thanks, I feel like I have a place to go for help.
It's so nice to be able to share and help others at the same time!
I went for a walk to try to stimulate some good endorphins, I know it will
help to exercise.

Wow, that is so crazy. I am so sorry to hear you had a bad childhood, I did too. I was in and out of foster homes as well...not fun. I lost both my parents to their addictions as well as my husband, 2 years ago. Its been a nightmare. And i have always been strong myself, but not with my addiciton. Its the one thing that succeeded in knocking me down.

Anyway, we are here for you and keep it up. You can do it.

I think I do want it bad, I have always had awesome will power.
I had to grow up fast as a kid, and I had a bad childhood, in and
out of homes. So maybe that helps me to be stronger mentally.
I've seen and been through so much **** in my life my pm dr.
actually said he thinks my pain is mental not physical.....
I don't buy that personally, I know how bad I hurt, I fell out of a
car when I was about 14 and in the last couple of years the pain in my
neck is unbearable at times. Thanks for your help.

Hey Beth, don't fight it!!! lol...If you are not having w.d's then hey, god bless. Its not supposed to happen, no. You should have w.d, but if you are ok, then don't fight it. Ride it out. Alot of WD is mental. And most don't know that. You can fight it and make the symptoms better using only your mind. Now, I am not saying if you think your ok, then your ok. But for ex. When I would be in full blown w.d, and I would say to myslef "you know what, I am calling and getting pills, I don't care" And then I would make the call and my dealer would say, Im on my way with them. Well, instantly, I would feel better and happy and excited and all of a sudden the w.d wouldn't be that bad.

SO your mind defintiely has some pull. And if you truly want it bad enough, then you will get through it. Good luck..

Yes it is possible, I did. Just be careful later on. It is the mental battle that was (is) harder. Start a good regiment of vitamins (2x/day) supplements and amino acids. (if not on antidepressants)
