The anxiety is still horrible and the not sleeping is really starting to get to me...I never thought that the drugs were ******* my body up as bad as they were and i was completly blind to it...I also didnt know that there were going to be lingering effects of the drugs so far as long as 2 weeks of being clean that only make it that much harder to stay clean...Just posting to prove no matter how bad it gets you can always turn it around with enough will power and desire to live a positive CLEAN life....Anyone out there battling addiction keep fighting the good fight and take it day by day and just know that you BETTERING you life with everyday clean!!!!!!!!!

I tried to stop the norco cold turkey. The first day I had the worst panic attack of my life. I am tapering down and I can only hope that it works, because no matter what, I am stopping in 21 days. Congratulations on making it this far, and fighting.

Congrats on 13 days! I here ya about the side effects of w/d's! I'm day 7 from doing the longest stretch of morphine ever. I had been through wd's before but not like this....I hope I remember this past week for the rest of my life ( I know I will!!) and i'm never going to look back. There is only one way to live and there is no living on drugs, especially opiates. Keep it up!

A little more time and you'll start getting back to normal again. The harder the battle the sweeter the rewards when you've won. When the sleep returns and energy levels get back to normal you'll feel empowered enough to take on anything. For me I just like being able to take care of the small details that I used to ignore when I was using. My confidence is through the roof now.  Still wondering why I ever thought I needed the pills to begin with now.
Quitting is so hard but it can be done. You just have to have the right tools to make it happen.

I kicked hydrocodone a couple of years ago and it took 30 days until the sleep problems and anxiety went away. Here I am again kicking  2 1/2 years later on day four. My god I hope I never do this again. God bless you. Hang in there!!
