yup way to go! you gotta get pissed at this hold they have on us. keep up the good work!! verrrry impressive
Great job flushing those pills! Did you just get a refill? You had wrote how you ran out and had to get from your mom. If so that's really amazing because I know you were realy feeling bad. You are doing a good job posting on here too. It will get better and you will really be free. I pray you get some relief tonight. I am only 44 days clean and have my struggles at time, but they are fleeting. My life is sooooo much better and yours will be too. Keep letting us know how you are doing and we will be there for you
:-)
Awesome flushing them.I also flushed a bunch of pills BUT NOT WHILE WITHDRAW Thats very impressive.u have been on the rollercoaster b4.u did the right thing.U will start feeling better soon
Way to go, flushing the pills! You sound upbeat and that is good. Kyle says we have to pay the piper, and he is right, but detox is nothing that you can't do. Keep up the good work.
WOW!! I'm proud of you!
Do you have Tonic Water in the house? That works for RLS as well. It's the quinine that does the trick. Oranges? Apple juice? Multi vitamin? Take it all!
Getting rid of the pills was a great step...and what you did (taking half a pill) is a perfect example of why we all scream flush the pills; cut all sources - because if you don't you will relapse. On day two I would have used if I had any. We put our bodies through hell, and then want to avoid paying the piper. Detox is horrible - but it doesn't last very long. However, while we're in it time stands still, and the crap we have to face seems endless. So, we look for an easy way out. We all do.
Now, along with getting through the next few days, you have to lay the foundation for your recovery.
Cut all sources - if you don't have pills you won't use.
Next, tell your secret. Tell your doc, pharmacy, dentist, etc. Tell close family members, spouse/girlfriend, close friend. If you keep your secret you will relapse behind it. These people will be a part of your on going support system.
Finally, get some sort of aftercare. NA meetings and the like. Very important.
These are the foundation to recovery; leave one out and you'll relapse.
