Oxycodone vs 5 tyenol 2's

I got prescibed Oxycodone one month ago for toothache pain from a rootcanal which didnt go as planned , and recently the pain stopped but i know this is the sign of dependence , .. i have some oxy's left but i dont want to take another one tonight i already took 2 earlier in the day , so i have tyenol 2's i took 5 and wondering will this be as strong as oxycodone ? i feel great on the oxys then any other drug they tried me on for pain ,.

Oxy will of course feel better the Tylenol.  Oxy is a very powerful drug.  You know that feeling you get when you take them? That euphoric feeling and all your pains gone?  Thats VERY addictive.  I would not get into the habit of taking them, trust me.  Its not worth it!

Why did you take 5 Tylenol 2s if your goal was to achieve pain relief? That is waaaay too much Tylenol at once. You have only been in this a month. Follow the meds as prescribed and take as needed. You do NOT want to become addicted!

I can not even explain to you how much better I feel since I'm off the opiates!!! I'm so much better emotionally and physically... I thought I need that crap to live a normal life.... Not true. Yes, the withdrawal is very very very bad, ("gut rot" and all), but I went on faith after reading many posts on this site... I flushed it all. The incentive of a brighter and better life not being controlled by the pills was what got me up each day... It's what got me through many sleepless nights. The drug lies to us...it makes our body scream for it.... When I say "stop the insanity", I mean it.  You were meant for much more than a drug controlled life... There are no accidents and you have important things to do with your life. You don't need the pills!!!! Thanks for sticking with us...

That happened to me when I took a muscle relaxer. I felt like death. Drink fluids, take a warm bath and try to sleep it off. Stay away from the Oxyg! You don't need it

Never taking codeine ever again ill stick with oxycodone for pain , when needed .

I decided not to take oxy now , so i took 5 and now i got a migraine worst then it was , and i have gut rot and im dissy , and feels like somebody is poking holes in my stomach , but taking oxy is way better feeling then this this is hell on earth ,. hate codeine never taking it again , and thanks for the remark Annibelle ~! and i will keep you posted .

Taking 5 tylenols is no good! Watch for signs of liver damage..... Since you haven't been on long, quit now!!!!! You may have a little withdrawal but trust me, it's worth it!!!!!!

Hello!! Welcome.... Make sure you don't take more than 3000 mg of Tylenol in a 24 hour period (FDA dropped this max dose recently from 4000 to 3000). Tylenol is hard on your liver. If you don't have any pain,then don't take pain med!!! You will have some withdrawals from being on it a month but stopping now is a wise decision. Don't continue in the insanity!!!
