how long dose a 40mg a day oxy withdrawl last? I got a free bottle of of 20s and began working my way up my first day without them I started getting runny nose yawning depressd unexplanible irritation through my whole body and very little sleep last night I feel just really horible...

I'm not withdrawing from oxy....but from dilaudid.  I am about 6 or 8 days in.  I got cramps, diarreah, threw up, achy muscles and the worst was the way I was shaking.  ALeve works for pain, immodium for the stomach....what helped me the most on my very worst days (3-5>) was just to talk  at this forum....people here have all gone thru it....Just hold on.....I am a fat 65 year old grandmother with all kinds of medical problems.....you are a strong young man....Just grit your teeth and thank God you will will not die from an OD.   Love  Jerrri

hey skiddy, is it possible for you to get to a doctor to talk to him about depression. it seems that depression and addiction coincide with each other and if you fixed the one problem, then maybe both could be fixed. just a thought, but nobody should have to suffer with depression, there are things that can be done for it.

my daughter started on oxys....when she couldn't afford them she went to heroin and cocain.  She got a "good" batch shot them both up and died of an overdose.....Please stop.....Love  Jerri
