Pain relievers w/ Clonidine

What OTC pain relievers can I take with Clonidine?

Thank you both!! I am on a Beta-Blocker (Atenolol) for panic attacks, my Dr. said it shouldn't be a problem. I am nervous though, It maintains my BP. Also while taking the Clonidine, I have discomfort in my chest. I don't know if it is gas from the GI issues or what? I have had extnsive testing done on my heart (mostly from the last panic attack) and I'm fit as far as that goes. Maybe a good ol' gas pill will help? I hope you all don't mind me...I'm a nervous ninny, it's a wonder I became addicted to anything the way i stress over my health. BUT.......

I am with Tyson, I think you are ok with pretty much anythingOTC. However, you should ask your prescribing dr. He would know better then us. I took immodium and advil, tylenol and whatever else would help me when I was on clonodine.

Theres no otc pain relievers that Im aware of that have negative interaction with clonidine, and yes you can take immodium. I take clonidine still to this day for my blood pressure and I use naproxen, aspirin,tylenol etc. and I was taking immodium during my detox while on clonidine. If you want to be safe go to drugs.com and look up clonidine and it will tell you all the possible interactions it can have. As far as I know there shouldnt be anything to worry about. I would stay away from any medication that would lower your BP even further I suppose that could cause a problem but dont know of any otc products that do lower bp. Hope this helps, take care.
