Please pray for me.

I have been taking pain pills for 3 years now and I am to the point that I am taking 10 to 15 10 mil percs a day. I can't take it anymore. I am either sick from having too many or sick fron not having them. Everytime somebody around me has some come up missing I get the blame for it. I got my 120 pills Thursday and after paying back. What was owed and abusing them I have 4 pills left. I have determened to stand my ground and kick them. It would be nice to have a support group to talk to so if anybody is out there who is going throught or has gone through this I could use your help. Let me know that you are there.  Thank you so much.

Thank you all for your help. I have managed to get through the toughest part. I have a few family members who understand what I am going through and they have helped by giving me one or two perc 5s a day until I was able to go without. Now my plan is to saty off until my meds are refilled and then give them to my folks to hold and give me what I am supposed to have every day. I know now that I can do it the way I was meant to. Thanks for your help and I will let you know how it is going.

Tapering is hard to do.  If you have someone who will hold the meds for you that will work.  Many of us have felt less pain once we stopped the meds.  You can do this!!  We are here to support you~~~~sara

jon boy-  man I feel your pain.  I had the same problem with the pathces and when I decided to get off of them it was seriously the most drawn out horrible experience.  I looked at felt like death for 2 weeks.  If you are considering coming off them I would suggest a taper ( I CT off of them) and please, PLEASE stop chewing them.  That is the reason your tolerance has gone through the roof.  I found that my pain actually decrease after the withdrawals calmed down.

Thanks. I'm perscribed fentanyl patches that I'm suppose to wear but I still hurt even with them on so I started eating them. I'm also taking 7.5 vic's for breakthrough pain but nothing works. Is there something I can take that will take away the pain that I can't abuse????? I can't work in pain.

I'm in the same boat. I can't seem to take my meds the way they are perscribed. It doesn't do anything for me. I have to take more for me to fil anything and I'm scared to say anything to my doctor because I'm afrAid I'll lose my meds all together. I've alwYs abused drugs but I truly suffer from cronic pain so I can't just quit taking it.
