Hi and glad you're getting the prep work done for your detox. Having the supplies on hand will help a lot. Try not to overthink what to expect while withdrawing. No, it won't be easy yet if you just go with it and treat the symptoms you can do it.

Best of luck and keep posting!

glad you found this site.  It has been a wonderful support when I started this road from hell.  It is a process....decide to get clean, prep for it, get thru withdrawals and then deal with the mental need to keep taking.  Seems like it won't end.  It does not...it gets better, it gets wonderful, but the mental takes awhile.  Get thru the withdrawals and keep posting as you need to.  You can do it....just need to mentally be ready to find a new way to deal with pain and life!  Everyday I am clean is a good day!

Good for you and definitely stock up on all of the items mentioned here.  I would recommend the benadryl for sleep and anxiety that might come but everyone is different.  Lots of soft toilet paper, crackers, and B complex vitamins.  All things that I had wished I had lol.  Others may suggest some other things that I am forgetting right now.  Good luck.
