Questions and concerns

i went from being on about 4 norcos a day for about 2-3 years...I decided to stop When i realized it was getting out of hand.... It has been 14 days today, But the only thing that is helping me get through it is taking 1 tramdol a day... I have gotten over the anxiety, not able to sleep and pains, But it seems i cannot shake this depressed feeling at all.... I feel very sad/down & depressed, When i take 1 tramadol it helps me feel better(NORMAL) and not depressed...am i doing the right thing?

Congrats on quitting norcos but beware TRAMADOL is very addicting also and the wd's are no fun from it either...

Trams have an anti depressant in them...maybe that is why they help elevate your mood. I would steer clear of all meds during detox and just ride it out.

Your pain is at it's worse right now. The Norcos actually CAUSE Pain, and very bad pain when you are coming off them.  This is so important to understand. After you take them for a while the pain gets unbearable. I am at 50 days and the pain is so very much less. I recall at 2 weeks the pain was very bad, whenever you anything, even lying in bed, I would get weird pains in unusual places. As time goes on the pain gets less and less. It is so amazing!! Congratulations on quitting!! The other pills I never took, so I don't know about them.

The depression will also go away! It takes time for your brain to start working on its own again, as opposed to it counting on the pills. .

I would try to stay away from ghe Tramadol if you can.  If you read up on the Tramadol.  Lidoderm patches might help your pain and it is not addicfing.  Prescription gels, like Voltaren gel, may also give you some pain relief.?

I agree with the above.  Please know that Tramadol has an anti-depressant built into it so it could make things worse.  The depression and anxiety will pass so the sooner you stop everything the better.  Tramadol WD's are horrible and part of the reason they are so bad is because of the anti-depressant so I would advise not taking them.  I don't know if you have been taking the Tramadol the entire 14 days but it's time for you to jump ship and get clean.  At minimum I would only do 1/2 of a tram for the next 3 days and then stop altogether.  That would put you at day 17 and well on your way to a full recovery.    PS: Make sure to exercise, sweat and lots of sun if possible.  Push your body to create its own natural endorphins.  The more you exercise the faster they will return to normal and your mood will follow.
