HI :)
you have been waiting for this day to come, you have worked taperiing and now you are finally making it without pills, be proud of you :)
you should start feeling better in a couple of days but as you know every one is different but the taper is the way to make these wds's symponts better ....are you taking the supplements to help you with rls ?
hey, you can do it.... try keeping busy or at least don't overthink about the refill... you have taken the decision, now you have to think there is no turning back , you are doing this to have a better quality of life on the long term :)
good luck, we are pulling for you and we will be here with you !!!
Hey! Please don't cave! It will only put it off until another day. This will be as easy as it ever gets, honestly. If you get the refill and take them, then you will just have to start over. You are about halfway done with the physical stuff right now. Don't give up.
Take some imodium and Hyland's Restful Legs. Advil, hot bath (not TOO hot. don't wanna pass out!) and some magnesium/calcium supplement. All of those things will help the RLS.
As long as you have that script, it will call your name. Get rid of it, ok? It is only going to put off the inevitable.
Good luck to you and you will feel better soon!!!! You will be so happy to not have to worry about these pills anymore. I would tear up the prescription for those pills!! I wish you the best!
Please dont cave in and fill it you are just putting off the same feelings you are having today for another day get it over with you will feel so much better when your clean. I am on day 8 and dont feel to bad today day 6 &7 were the worst for me I have cleaned my car and cut the grass today first day I have felt like doing anything. The world looks alot brighter today than it has in a couple of years. Hang in there!!!!!!!
Well......Do you really want to stop? If you go to the pharmacy your answer is no. If you burn the prescription and drive down to the nutrition store to stock up on multivitamins, amino's, Immodium, and some bananas you have a chance to get off of them. The thing is with this addiction is that every time you take a pill you prolong the inevitable fact that one day good or bad you will have to stop. No doctor will prescribe these forever! Then you will be forced to withdrawl off of a worse habit or you will hit the streets looking for a new suppier. You will eventually start asking people that you know do not have them just to see if they know someone. If you are like most of us on this forum you are a good person that made the mistake of letting these grab you. I have been in pain most of my adult life due to a military accident but with long term pill use your pain is actually worse on the pills then not. If you have not been on these things for more than a year or two then it will not be hard to kick. You will feel like you have lead legs for about a week or so and you are already experiencing the physical effects currently. Each day will get better and each day is another day you will not have to agonize over the fact that you know you are addicted to pills and need to stop. Best of luck to you and keep in mind that each time you go back to the beast the detox gets worse each and every time! God Bless!
