Relapsing

I went a whole two weeks then my wisdom tooth got infected. I called the dentist and they called in a script for me. Yup vicodin. Two weeks then they give me my own bottle. When i went to pick it up my husband was with me so icouldnt tell the lady put the vics back and just give me the antibiotics. I know im week and i know if i have a pill infront of me i will take it. Next week i get all my wisdom teeth pulled. How am i supposed to stay strong and clean with all these pills infront of me? I cant take them how it says on the bottle tryed that with this one and that didnt work there almost gone. Im so mad at myself now i have to go through 1-5 again. AHHHHHH

I work for a dental clinic and our oral surgeon sometimes prescribes the heavier pain meds only if the wisdom teeth were difficult to extract and lots of cutting was involved - that's not normal. Usually they tell there patients to switch off with Tylenol and Ibuprofen.  They tell them to take the Tylenol and then when the time is up from that take the Ibuprofen and so forth.  It really does help.

If you do NOT trust yourself with those pills - throw them down the toilet or ask a friend to hold them for you  (or your husband) and tell them to only give you one if the pain is horrible!

Anyway, good luck!!!!

Because you don't need Vic's after having wisdom teeth extracted.  Maybe take for 1 day only.......I never needed them ......as did anyone I know who had it done?  plain advil should work just fine.

Biting through one day of pain is worth the risk !!!

luv,
nauty.........
