Ringing in ears

It's day 235 for me.  and all of these dreadful symptoms are a thing of the past, except for one.... this ringing in the ears. It is not as intense as it was in the beginning, but still very annoying.
Does anyone know how long this may take, and has anyone had this be permanant? I can live with it, life is great now, but it sure would be nice to get rid of.

thanks for the nice replies. Yeah, I have been so busy catching up on all the work i missed when I was in withdraw these past months.
My BP is fine too, on the low side actually.

I know it is from the withdraw because that is when it started, and it was LOUD. Now it has faded but won't level off.
If I find out anything I will surely let you know,

great job on the 235 days!!  it could be your blood pressure.I would not think it would be a result of pill use though

Hi, I've missed you!   I am not around very much any more myself though.    Just want to say congrats on your clean time....I quit on June 9th, so about the same time.     I have ringing in my ears too.   I hadn't connected it to my hydrocodone use.   :(   I have several friends....none who used drugs....who have ringing also, and they had told me it is something you pretty much have to live with.   If you find out anything that works....please let me know!   I have to keep some kind of sound on all the time....radio or tv.    If it is quiet....it drives me crazy...especially if I stop and think about it.   My blood pressure is perfect and I can hear just fine.    My ringing is almost like crickets...like one side is a nano second off from the other side.   I honestly thought I was hearing crickets at first.   (Well, I do live in the country,,,,so it could've been crickets.  ;-/   I wish it was.  :(

Hey Lily, So glad to see you! I've never heard of the ringing lasting more than 30 days post detox. How is your BP? As no life suggested, I'd go get checked out. 235 days is amazing!!!!! yay you!

I'm sorry you are experiencing this.   For me it was only bad in the early stages.   If it persists maybe you should talk to your Doctor to make sure you don't have something else going on?     And congrats on 235 days!!!!    :)
