help!!!

Oh my god! I've been 7 days on a taper from lortab...I am getting to the point physically that I am getting over the wd's, but today I am teetering on killing someone by physically ripping their heads off and pulling their hearts out thru their throats and then at any moment I could bawl my eyes out! Does it get better?

...and I pray and read the Bible a lot. That helps me remember this is just a small blimish in my life and I'm not going through it alone. Good luck and God bless.

I don't know if it it is possible for you where you live, but I feel the same way and right now I am sitting in my pool on a float in the sun. If I stay indoors I am a mega b*tch! This way I can sit back and listen to the radio and relax while my kids get to swim instead of being bored out of their minds and on my last nerve...lol. It probably isn't too smart for me to be on my phone in the pool with the shakes, but it's how I keep my sanity... At least for today.

HI sounds like your having a tuff day.......a 7 day taper is mighty fast and your going to feel it every inch of the way your emotions will be coming back on line so going from wanting to slam someones head threw a windshield to tears about it the next minute is fairly common for many meditation works as dose yoga....for me I reached out for faith in God and found solitude in prayer you might give it a try just know the next few days your not going to be yourself .....dont take on anything aggravating or difficult try and keep it simple and tranquil and I walways tell everybody starting out in this....'''you just got to be ok without being ok for a wile'' its only temporary you will get threw it.....its never to earlly to start with aftercare go sit in on an N/A meeting dont speek just listen there will be pleanty of time to speek once your clean it will help you to here just what others have went threw to get where your going keep posting here rant and rave if you must just dont use.....we all want to see you get well this is all part of that process hang in there YOU CAN DO THIS ...good luck and God bless.....Gnarly

It's normal so just be sure you stay away from people right now!   Just focus on getting through this. You can do it without a pleasing personality!!

Have a punching bag???!! I know the feeling. When I first quit if I didn't keep myself busy I would go nuts and was so negative generally that noone wanted to speak with me. Weird coming from a guy who sees a full glass when most see an empty one. Have a dog? Mine helped me so much and I would walk them as often as I could to keep my mind off trying to figure out ways to score.

Keep posting and talk these things out. It helps to get it off your chest and you know so many people right now are going through or have been through the same things as you and can relate and offer advice and support.

Now where's that punching bag?
