Sleep and Anxiety day 13!!!!!!!

Is there anyone out there that has had a really hard time getting sleep because of being anxious, but your tired as anything?  I really needs some advice on this.  Please if you can, someone let me know?  Thank you.

I feel like I am going to go crazy.  It's so difficult with work.  I need some major help,  I take every natural remedy under the sun.  I have to try one other thing someone posted to me.  I feel like I am wasting my money!!!  I take diphenhydramine, sea sick pills.  I just want to be able to stop my head from being so awake!!!
I seriously think I am worse than most!

I answered that on one of your threads, and gave you some tips on how to find some relief. WITHOUT resorting to nasty drugs like Diphenhydramine,Clonidine etc.  Natural remedies are always the better choice.

Are you talking about anxiety from w/drawal? A low dose of Seroquil will help, or some Clonidine, not Klonopin. Both are very sedating. Those are the only two that worked for w/drawal insomnia for me.
If it's caused from an actual anxiety disorder, there are quite a few meds out there, but all work differently for different people. I take Xanax for horrible anxiety, (GAD, social phobia and panic disorder). 2mg's before bed will slow down my thinking but not put me to sleep. Diphenhydramine, (150mg's), actually works best for me but builds up a tolerance too quickly. Ambien and Lunesta are garbage for me also.
The best thing I found was Trazodone, 100mg's before bed, taken with food to be better absorbed into the blood. Sometimes I need 150mg's, but will wake up the next day like coming out of a coma. It lasts a long time in the body, so make sure you will be getting 8 hrs of sleep or you'll feel real groggy the next morning, although the grogginess usually wears off the more you use it. Plus, at such a lose dose when compared to getting help for depression from it, it doesn't seem to have any w/drawal symptoms like SSRI's, SNRI's, ect.
