I take aspirin before and I also found that if I wrap my legs in ace bandage ( not too tight) it really helped. Day 23 and it doesnt bother me every night anymore. Just once in a while. Hang in there and try wrapping em up. Let me know if it helps.
Working out really helps me...the rls goes away for quite awhile.
I'm on day 18...and still have the rls and sleep only 3-4 hrs. night....

Why are you keeping the Rx?
Magnesium and calcium help too. 2:1 ratio of Calcium to magnesium. When taken at night, your muscles can relax better.
Thanks! I don't know if I can take 5 days of this leg thing, Just sitting here typing, I have to swing my legs. I am taking potassium and I am on bananan #3 today. I really havent gotten diarreah, I naturally don't get it. I have gone 5 times today but that is it. I hate this leg thing becasue I didin't go to sleep until 4:30 and was up at 6. SUCKS!!! I am so tired and I can't lay down because my legs. I know next week I will be fine, very worth it. As alot of you know I have the pills here in my house. Ironically a new peerscription we got yesterday. I don't have any desire. When I set my mind, that is it!!!
yes, i had quit hydrocodone i would say about the first night my legs started bothering me, it was a feeling i could not describe. i could never get them comfortable. it would drive me crazy because i was so tired and they never bothered me until i tried to lay down at night. after about 3 days of that feeling it turned into pain from the knees down. it got so bad my husband took me to the ER. and ofcourse they found nothing wrong. icyhot gave me a little relief. but i can say this, after about five days your legs will stop, just stay strong because it will get better. i know exactly how you feel..... the RLS is one of the worst symptoms ...... The exercise will help. An electric blanket is great too ,you can wrap up in it ........
Good job on day 2,are you taking the vitamins and pottasium?I got potassium at health food store or try a banana now,I beleive this is why I did not have this problem this time.Fatigue is normal.Alot of people have the leg pain it will pass bit all in time.I am sure you will get more advice soon.PS lots of baths and heating pad and advil
