opiate withdrawl hell

i've read some of the questions and some of the posts. all seemed very helpful. but i need help now. I'm sitting here 12:31 in the a.m and i'm at the thresh hold of the hell to come. i ran out of my med this afternoon. I'm looking for something i can do at home to stop the withdrawls or at least ease them now. the locked in panic of the coming cramps, leg pain.....etc. i just don't think i can do this month after month when i'm waiting on my script to be filled. I'm tired of being an addict.

I agree with the above comments...At one point you just have to say I am not doing this anymore..It will only get wost and take more a day to keep the sickness away..Just go into it with your mindset, that you will just surrender, and tell yourself it will not be too bad..Our mind works wonders...Go to the health pages, ask your doctor for some clonodine, and just do it...WE are here to help you every step of the way...
Good luck

Being sick and tired of being sick and tired is what makes many of us say NO MORE,it's time to stop this vicious cycle and instead of just existing day to day, every move revolving around a pill bottle,it's time to start living again. If you are truly at that point and ready to say no more, outotown gave you some good advice, and we will all be here to help you through this. All the best...Kim
