Will stopping the Butran patch now put me in withdrawals

I have taken about 50mg of Percocet per day for 2 years but I ran out on Sunday July 15th and didn't get a new script. From the 15th to the 21st I was taking 5mg Vicodin and I only took 1 on the 21st. On the 21st around 3:00 I put on my first 5mcg Butran patch and I am curious if taking it off after 48 hours will put me into withdrawal.

That's what I'm thinking....just curious how bad the withdrawals will be since I haven't had any pills since Saturday at 11:00 and the patch has been on less than 48 hours so it's not even at its full strength yet.

Sounds like withdrawal to me...

You could leave the patch off now and just get it done. What do you think?

Before I put the patch on I had hot flashes, cold chills, diarrhea, sneezing and achy legs. Even with the patch on I sneezed a lot yesterday and Saturday night my legs hurt really bad and yesterday my back/ shoulders were achy but I feel ok today. I only put the patch on because I didn't want WD but obviously I was already having them from stopping the pills.

Hi-  Yes, I believe you will have some withdrawal. What did you feel like before you put the patch on? Why are you taking it off now? We're you using it to keep the wd's in check?
