Tapering Clonidine

Tring to quit Clonidine,buts so hard..i keep getting night (the worst) sweats,and day is terrible too..Here in Brazil everything works different.Clonidine is sold over the counter,and we have no pharmacists to help.Also the docs dont have experience in this,because of the low abuse rate,because we dont have heroin here..Only pain meds,that are seldom prescribed.And i was unfortunate to have a bad doctor that only upped my opioids and is not helping now with the clonidine.Money talks,she lost a $350 patient that no longer goes to pick up prescriptions for opioids.Now that my arthrits is properly treated,i did not need them,and stopped with Clonidine,by myself..But the Clonidine is not working like it used to be,and I cannot sleep because of the night sweats.summer is coming,and it will be harder with the hot weather.No kidding,but sometimes I fell worst than when tapering opioids.Wish I had taken more time,and stopped very slow without clonidine..i have the 0.1 and 0.2 ones.They are cheap,and i can buy how many I want..but want my life and sleep back..Any suggestions?Help...

Night sweats are the worst for me too. I don't have any knowledge if what to do but I'm here listening and any day clean is a good one right?

Are you certain these symptoms are from the clonidine?  I think I mentioned before that we can't really advise you about tapering off of this or recommending dosages. You know this isn't a medical forum.

You can research this drug and get all the information you need. I'm sure you know it's a B/P med...

Thats what i'm wanting to know,if someone has had something similar with the clonidine...
