Tapering off Oxycontin

I am currentyly taking 10mg of oxycontin, 3 times a day (every 8 hours).  If I miss a dose it triggers a migraine rebound headache.  How can I taper off of oxycontin without triggering migraines, and without suffering the side effects of insomnia and anxiety ?

Are you sure it's a migraine? I have migraines and thought withdrawals triggered them, too. But, it was actually tension headaches. You may want to get a script for something like Imitrex and try it. I will tell you that for most people, the headaches go away in a month or so. So, try and just tough it out.
