Hey Friend,
so glad you are jumping off the pill roller coaster.
you have gotten good advise, the thomas recipe, the supplements and well, be careful with supplements though, some you can't take if you are taking other meds, and although you are off of them I would check.
stay nourished, this is so important, when you can't eat drink Ensure or Boost or herbalife shakes. The anxiety is a monster but it goes away, so stay the course, it will all fade.
hugs,
Lily
Got it and thank you so much!
You got some good advise. Keep checking back as more members post.
Also, I have a suggestion for you. If you plan on staying off the pain meds you should consider getting rid of your just-in-case. I don't want to see you fall back into the trap and that is so easy to do.
The exercise is great. Also remember to stay hydrated. It is very important during this time. Hang in there.
Hey there ;o)
I sent you a really thorough list of vitamins, supplements and over the counter remedies that will help you through this process. Take a look at your personal messages. I hope this helps you get through, it certainly helped me ;o) -Kelly
Thank you for the encouragement and advice. I think I'm at the get off the couch and just go for a walk stage. I don't want to but I'm going to. I think. OK, I'm going to try.
If you've been on here for days, you've heard of the Thomas Recipe and Amino Acid protcol at the bottom right of the forum. I went for a sauna and a swim at the local gym, and it helped for a few hrs of symptoms and increased my detox rate. As much as it hurt, getting my heart rate up helped some as well, trampoline, walking, anything. Most the time I just told myself it's like a fever, it will go away. good job so far.
And yes, alternatives for withdrawal symptoms, please.
I'm just really looking for support and you all seem very helpful in that area.
Hi & Welcome,
I am not clear on what your question is? Are you looking for some alternative to help with the withdrawal symptoms? If so just mention that and you will get plenty of responses.
I'm glad you found your way here. It is a great place for support.
