Thankful for Yoga - liver detox set

So today is my 7th day off hydros, my first yoga class in a year not taking pills and my teacher felt inspired to do the entire class with liver care, liver detox - how fortuitous that pushed myself to go tonight.  Sometimes the universe just confirms things for you.................I'm just sayin..............

Awesome.  Yoga is a powerful tool when reclaiming your life.  It is what keeps my autoimmune illnesses in check, my pain levels at a minimum, and my mind calm and present...2 months into sober classes- I truly feel like I am healing...Mind, body, and spirit.  I have seen yoga work miracles in so many people's lives.  Yoga is for everyone...
I always say, if everyone did yoga daily, the world would be a better place.(:

Hi there and congrats on your good fortune tonight!! i work in the health care field,in cacner care to be specific. One of our doctors actually recommends yoga for our liver cancer patients. Everything happens for a reason.....just saying:)Stay strong!!

Thats Cool... I am currenly looking for a class.  There are so many diffrent types of Yoga .  I am not sure what class would be best.. My BF wants to go with with me and thats cool huh?

in kundalini yoga you do kriyas (or sets of movements) for various things, you name a body part there is a yoga set to help.  Kind of hard to explain but it was a wonderful gift for sure.

I started doing Kundalini last February so this month will be my year anniversary doing it - it's given me so much mental strength, gift of breathing and I don't know that I would have come to my decision to detox off hydros without it.  It was one catalyst to help me realize it was time.  No sleep last night, I was draggin butt and just forced myself to go anyway and I'm sooooo glad I did.  My teacher knows nothing of the pills - she is just so intuitive.  She said she knew someone in the class needed this tonight, it was all I could do not to cry through the class with gratitude.
