Just got back from the er (my husbands been bugging me since Friday) and have bronchitis and a sinus infection.  I was asked
if I wanted anything to make me "comfortable" and i said yes, motrin!!!! You all are keeping me so strong.  All this positive reinforcement from people that i don't even know but feel like u have been my friends forever.  Thank you for your continued support, virtual hugs, and lots of prayers!!!!

Trust me I agree. I know we all have legit pains and crap but you're right the drs are and to them it's easy! We on the other hand have to deal with the f$7/@n aftermath of it.   It felt really good to turn down the narcodics very empowering!   It just ***** to get hit hard when you're already down.  After ct and dealing with the wds to only have a couple good days and get whack again and again it *****! But this too shall pass.  I KNOW it will!  Ty again

Great job at the doctor! I love to see people turn pain meds down from them. To me they are glorafied drug dealers. People think that just brcause they are perscibed that its ok to take them. You on the other hand have seen the light. We are proud of you and keep posting. But get some rest and try to get over your sickkness.

Way to go on staying true to yourself!!  That took alot of strength to do that.  Now take this time to get better.  Drink plenty of fluids and use good kleenex!!         sara

I'm new to the site, but I'm proud to hear that you are out there being strong!  ;)
I also turned downs meds today....and I gotta say the first few mins of thinking about it --- Damn! But I was SO PROUD of myself!

I never talked to you and not sure what was going on. I am sure that you feel better know what is wrong. I am assuming it might of been something worse you thought was going on. You should be getting rest instead of typing on here. Sounds like you could use it.
