Tylenol 3 during pregnancy for headaches, harmful?

I am 21 weeks pregnant and have been prescribed Tylenol 3 for headaches. I end up taking them almost everyday. I take half a pill (which I'm prescribed 1-2 4-6 hours as needed) so I take the least I cna but I end up taking about 1-2 pills a day. I was wondering what kind of harm this could do for my baby? I know my doctor said it's fine but I'm still unsure! I have three children and never tookANYTHING with any of them so I feel like I'm being a bad mom! I can't stop taking them because I have three young children to take care of and my headaches are horrible! Any advice or anyone been there?

I truly believe anytime you have to ask "is taking these pills okay", you are looking for affirmation when in your gut you already know it is not in the best  interest for you or your  unborn child...  Before "taking pills" truly becomes a problem for your entire family,,,,,,  I would see if I couldn't handle or treat the headaches with some OTC drugs....  and only those approved by your OB/GYN........           If your pain is more severe, I would request your Doc perform some test to see if it is more than just the hormonal wave we experience during pregnancy.

I applaud you for seeking direction......  however  I think, in your heart, you know the answers.   I wish only the best of luck to you and your healthy babies....

It may not be harmful as of yet to the baby I don't know I am not a doctor but thats a good way to start a bad problem.  Regular tylenol just wont work?  I understand the pain of a headache while trying to raise your children but what if you had to go through withdrawls while trying to care for your children or worse what if you were no longer capable of caring for your children because your "need" is so great.  I am not judging you, I am only 7 days clean off a much harder drug, oxycontin, but what I am trying to say is that years ago tylenol 3 was enough to get me high...... Today I would have to take so many I would just get sick.
