Today has been 28 days clean off of methadone

Some of you know my story, some of you dont, but today is 28 days clean of methadone!!!! I just wanted to let everyone know that im almost back to normal now.....only sleeping 5-6 hrs and Im eating better. I have kept this addiction private, and I dont know what i would have done without the support of this site. It is nice to know that other people have been through the same withdrawals. Thanks again for everyones support. It was rough but doable. If I can do it, anybody can. I feel better mentally too. No more guilt, or looking back at the past. All I can do now is continue with my sobriety and move forward. Thanks again. You guys helped save my life.

thanks for the update.congrats on your 28 clean days. i am so happy for you and so very proud of you. wow, you are getting 5 or 6 hrs of sleep that is awesome. so glad you are eating better. we cant change our past, we  have today and a hope of tomorrow....

Hello. I want to say gratz .:]
  I kicked methadone 4 years ago.I did it cold turkey. about 60mg daily.weened down 20 and jumped off. it wasn't easy.and i was here
back then looking for support.Well....here i am again. yep. relapsed one and a half years ago. i hope you make it all the way. please always remember to keep in mind relapse prevention for life.Keep up the good work.28 is a good number.I am back on day one again.wish me luck.Peace. AICfan

That's awesome. Thank god I never got on methadone but had a run with oxy for a while. So proud your doing good. I'm 2 weeks clean today just a little behind you. Keep up the good work!
