That many is very dangerous. But assuming Friday is the day because you'll be out of pills. Tram is awful so good luck
I took tramadol for 2 years, sometimes as much as 18 a day. I quit completely cold turkey 36 days ago. I went from the normal amount I take to absolutely nothing. Yes, this can be very dangerous because of seizures; however, I am epileptic so I already take very strong seizure medicine so the seizures were not a concern for me. I would suggest tapering. You just have to be very very disciplined. It's been a very long road, but I'm sitting here at day 36 with no pills and I feel wonderful. When I quit I didn't get a sleeping aid like ambien or something to relax me like Xanax, so I don't really know how much those help. I just lived in the bathtub. That's the only thing that helped me. Not sleeping is a given. I have been off pills this long and I'm still not sleeping. I have also taken a herb called St. Johns Wort. I believe it has really helped me with depression. I have absolutely no depression and no cravings. Good luck to you. For me it was a very long and painful process. It still is, but I'm sure tapering will help quite a bit. You can do this!
that is an extremely high amount. your risk of seizures would be very severe. can you call your doctor tomorrow and ask for a taper schedule? do you have someone who could hold and despense the pills to you so you dont take more than you should?
just saw and answered your other thread. definitely need to taper.
