HI! Clonidine always worked for me. I have to tell you, though, that it won't take away every symptom. It just makes the symptoms easier to deal with and reduces them drastically. If you are still tapering, the clonidine should take the edge off the Wds. This could be your mind playing tricks on your body.
Hang in there! This will be over soon! : )
Are you out? Read the thomas recipe on this page which will inform you of what you need to quit naturally. Tapering is not easy [I'm working on it], and doesn't seem to be the method of choice for many, especially if you are the one controlling your dosing. Is that what you want to do, is to switch addictions? Buprenorphine or [sub] helps some people, but that is what's happening. Switching addictions. I've never tried it but will say when my dose was still way up there and after trying ct, I did consider it. It may happen. I hope not. I'm going to get off this poison long enough to know in my heart of hearts that what I'm treating here is pain and not my addiction. If my pain is being created in my mind [it's done stranger things to me], then taking narcotics is unaceptable, for me, it just is. I agree your doctor didn't do you right, he probably doesn't have addict experience. They only know what's in the journals and have their own personal bias. If you have to go without till you get the sub, and that's your plan, then maybe tomorrow you will be supplied, If your plan is to get sober, and your without, it would be an opportunity to quit. I know it's not pleasant, but it needs to happen sometime, right? good luck
