Valerian during hydro withdrawal

Quick question.  I take 10mg lexapro daily for anxiety, and went cold turkey hydrocodone monday (7.5 mg 4/5 times a day).  

Will valerian interact with the Lexapro?  Any ideas?  I'm thinking of taking the valerian tonight to help sleep vs. using a xanax.

Trying to beat the stupid RLS...drives me nuts.  Yes, I'll try a hot bath before bed...lol....but it happens in the middle of the night.

My valerian root is by Nature's Sunshine and it has no warnings on it like that.  I've been searching, but can't find anything conclusive.

If you will read on the bottle of Valerian it states NOT to take with any other type of antidepressant or benzo....at least that is what it states on my bottle of Valerian.  Do a search and be sure before you take it.

I believe it is ok to take the Valerian Root with Lexapro.  I'm just not positive. Hopefully someone else that is certain will respond.  Things should start getting a little better everyday now.  Hang in there.

hmmm IM not sure you should...I dont know if the valarian root will interact wtih that or not.......try looking it up on the net somewhere. I get nervous about mixing stuff like that. Hopefully there wont be interactions and you can take it though because it really does help with sleep (I used it years ago for this reason before I was taking other meds)
