Vicodin Withdrawal

I started taking vicodin and then Norco for the last two months because my dentist prescribed it to me for pain, since I had three root canals the last 2 months. Its been 8 days since I stopped cold turkey. And I am getting these withdrawal symptoms, lots of nauseau, the feeling of wanting to throw up,,, fatigue, tired, not being able to sleep, restless, no energy, no focus, anxiety, depression, crying spells, sad, shaking at times, coughing, sore throat, laryngitis.. How long will this last? I an tired of feeling this way.

If you dont mind me asking how much were you taking a day? because like im done said you were on them a very short time so withdrawal shouldnt be very bad and shouldnt last very long but def get you a good multivitamins and that will help get the opiates out of your system faster and help get your system back in sync without meds and some imodium will help to

I'm sorry you're struggling so much.  Withdrawal is NO picnic!

And I wish I could tell you how long it will last, but that's actually very different for everyone.  Just hang in there and know that it IS temporary and it will pass.  And then you will NEVER have to go through this again.  That thought alone kept me going in those early days.  And don't stop posting - this place can get quiet from time to time but eventually members will be here and respond to you.  And I do think that since you were on the norco's for such a short time, you'll get out of this mess relatively quickly.  Have you checked out some of the suggestions given on this site such as the thomas recipe or the amino acid protocol?  There's some great info there so it's definitely worth looking into!

And oh yes, congratulations on the 8 days!!  That is FANTASTIC!!!  :)
